About Vegas Solar Cleaning, the Las Vegas Solar Cleaning Company That Tells You When to Wait
Short answer: Vegas Solar Cleaning is a solar panel cleaning and pigeon proofing service for homes and businesses across the Las Vegas Valley. We clean with deionized water and soft tools, install mesh to keep pigeons out, and send a photo report after every visit. We don’t sell solar systems or do electrical repairs, and if your panels don’t need cleaning yet, we say so.

Why this site exists
Las Vegas solar owners are skeptical of solar cleaning, and they have reasons. Door-to-door cleaners tell whole streets they need three cleanings a year. Some installers have gone out of business and left owners with no one to call. Online, the same questions come up again and again: does cleaning actually pay, and is anyone giving a straight answer?
We built this website around that question. Every page tries to show you when a cleaning pays and when it doesn’t, using published research and the numbers from your own monitoring app instead of a sales pitch.

How we work on your roof
| What we do | Why |
|---|---|
| Rinse with deionized water | Las Vegas tap water averages about 280 ppm hardness and leaves white spots. Pure water dries clear. |
| Use soft brushes and water-fed poles | Panel makers like REC rule out pressure washers and abrasive tools. Poles also keep most work on the ground. |
| Clean early in the day | Panel manuals say to clean when panels are cool to avoid thermal shock. In summer that means first light. |
| Step only where tiles overlap, if we go up | Concrete and clay tile cracks under the wrong step. See tile roof solar panel cleaning. |
| Keep rinse water on the roof | Southern Nevada counts water running off a property as waste, with fines from $40 up to $5,000. |
| Send a photo report | Before and after shots, plus anything worth watching, such as droppings, cracks or loose wiring. |
You can see the full visit step by step on our residential solar panel cleaning page, or the larger-scale version on commercial solar panel cleaning.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell or install solar systems, and we have no deal with any installer.
- We don’t repair inverters, rewire panels or remove and reinstall arrays. That is work for a licensed solar electrician or contractor, and we will say so if we see a problem.
- We don’t pressure-wash panels or use harsh chemicals.
- We don’t push a cleaning schedule before we know what your monitoring app shows.
Before anyone works on your roof, ask any company, including us, for the technician’s name, their safety training and proof of insurance, and check contractor licenses with the Nevada State Contractors Board.
How we write and check this site
We want this site to be something you can check, not just trust. These are the rules we follow on every page:
- Numbers come from sources we link at the bottom of the page, such as panel maker manuals, UNLV research, the National Weather Service, SNWA and LVVWD.
- Prices are shown as ranges that local companies publish, not as a made-up rate card.
- The job examples on our home page are labeled as illustrations. We don’t post reviews, photos or job counts we can’t back up.
- Pages show when they were last updated, and we update them when the numbers change.
- If you spot a mistake, tell us through the contact page and we will fix it.
Good places to start are our solar panel cleaning questions page and the honest math on whether cleaning pays.

Questions about our company
Is Vegas Solar Cleaning a solar installer?
No. We only clean panels, install pigeon mesh and do visual inspections with photo reports. We don’t sell systems, so we have no reason to tell you that you need new equipment.
Do you have an office I can visit?
No. We are a service-area business that comes to your home or property anywhere in the Las Vegas Valley. The fastest way to reach us is the quote form.
Will you tell me if my panels don’t need cleaning?
Yes. If your clear-day output matches the same month last year and there are no droppings or mud on the glass, we will tell you to wait. That honesty is the point of this business.
